Wow... it's hard to believe that we are already here in November! As we move into another month of the school year, we are so proud of the hard work our students continue to show each day. This month brings wonderful opportunities to celebrate learning, connect as a community, and reflect on all that we’re thankful for. Thank you for your continued support and for being an important part of our Roadrunner family!

General Information & Reminders:

Our Love of Literacy BINGO cards are officially underway! The BINGO cards are a fun way to encourage reading at home! Each month, students will receive a new BINGO card with reading activities to complete with their families. Students can turn in their completed BINGO cards to Ms. Slone at the end of the month to earn a prize.
There will be no school Tuesday, November 4 due to a teacher workday.
There will be no school Tuesday, November 11 due to Veteran's Day.
Progress reports will be sent home through Parent Square Friday, November 14.
Make up fall picture day will be Thursday, November 20. Pictures can be ordered here using the keyword "ROADRUNNERS25".

This Thanksgiving season, we are thankful for all the students, families, and staff that make RRES an incredible community. We look forward to capturing the magic of Roadrunner joy with our first ever Roadrunner Smiles Photo Fundraiser this month.

Important Info:

Roadrunner Smiles Photo Fundraiser: Celebrate the season with a winter wonderland photo of your student or family. Digital images are only $5. Get more information and sign up for your spot at https://winterphotos.cheddarup.com.
School Store: The School Store is open every last Friday of the month from 7.45a-8.20a (Please do not be late to class!) Items range from $1 to $5. spirit wear is also available for purchase. Cash, card, check, and Venmo accepted.
Papa Johns Spirit Night: Order from Papa Johns (585 Hwy 601 Bypass) either online or by phone (704.786.6666) every 4thMonday and use code “ROCKYRIVER” to have 20% of your purchase price donated to the school.
Frye’s Skate Night: Skate on down to Frye’s Roller Rink for a school-wide private skate night! Admission is $7. Skate rentals are $5. Frye’s donates $3 per skater back to the school when over 100 people attend.

Hilbish Ford Teacher of the Month

Cabarrus County Schools is fortunate to partner with Hilbish Ford to recognize the teachers across our district. Each month, an outstanding CCS teacher receives a plaque and a monetary gift from Hilbish Ford to honor their excellence and dedication.
